I write about intentional thinking, mental models, and frameworks for problem-solving. I'm not an academic, I provide insights from my own perspective and experiences. Constructive discussion is very much welcomed.

I believe you should always strive for setting the right expectations. On the other hand, I'm skeptical of folk who say you should be able to do it in two short sentences. So, a compromise it is. To give you an idea of what to expect from my content, I tried to summarize my approach and scope into a few paragraphs. What I write about:Intentionality –We live in a time when it’s very easy to switch off and go on autopilot. But that’s not something that is sustainable in the long run. On the other hand, I don’t want to slide into the level of performance productivity. My goal is not to be productive at all costs every day, every hour, every minute. My goal is to consciously determine what I am doing and know why I am doing it. Frameworks for thinking and problem-solving – regardless of the field. My goal is to give you tools and systems, whether they are mental or tangible, that will enable you to better solve problems and work with your knowledge. However, I don’t want to be bound by specific frameworks. I will describe all the tools and systems in a way that you can take them and experimentally incorporate them into your own work or life. This may change in the future, but for now, it mirrors the way I work with tools and systems. How I write:I am not an academic, and I describe many things from my perspective and experience. Where it makes sense, I will supplement with appropriate sources. Generally, I don’t assume that I will tell you something new and groundbreaking. I’m just synthesizing sources that come across my desk and putting them next to my own experience with these topics. I welcome factual and polite discussions on any of the topics. I believe that conflicting opinions enrich both our work and personal life. I can safely say that I have learned the most in life from people with vastly different worldview to mine. |
